Modeled after the historic Lady Washington, a beloved local vessel, this piece honors the spirit of maritime history in our region. The simplified palette strips the ship down to its essence, allowing form, balance, and symbolism to take center stage. The waves—dark and light—represent the push and pull of time, the known and the unknown, the calm and the unruly seas that every journey must cross.
